This means I can give your cat plenty of attention, playtime, company, and care while you’re away. I’m happy to work around your cat’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and stress-free.

It’s important to know each pet’s feeding schedule, dietary needs, and any medical conditions or medications. I also need to understand their temperament, such as if they are shy, anxious, or very social, and any triggers like loud noises or strangers. Knowing their litter preferences, routines, and whether they are indoor-only or outdoor-access cats helps me keep them comfortable and stress free :)
A typical day
A typical day caring for pets involves following their normal routine by feeding them, topping up fresh water, and keeping litter trays clean so they stay comfortable and relaxed. I also check in on them to make sure they’re happy, settled, and feeling secure while their owners are away. For activities, I keep them suited to each pet. Gentle play and pets for shy cats, or more interactive toys and games for playful ones. If needed, I can also do brushing or basic grooming to help keep their coat clean and reduce shedding, as long as the pet is comfortable with it. Overall, I focus on giving them attention in a calm, reassuring way so they feel safe and not lonely.

Hi i’m Liz! I’m luckily someone who has been chosen by cats my entire life. I’ve had 5 cats growing up, currently live with 2 indoor-only cats, and my family also has an indoor/outdoor cat, so I’m experienced with both types of lifestyles and routines. I’m comfortable with feeding, litter cleaning, playtime, cuddle duties, medication giving, and respecting a cat’s personal space when they suddenly decide they hate everyone for 20 minutes. And of course giving them lots of love and attention :P Fun fact: my grandfather currently shelters 13 cats (yes… THIRTEEN). He literally built a shelter beside his house because he cannot walk past a stray cat without bringing it home. And yes I have taken care of them too :) Clearly the family cat obsession is genetic, and I inherited it proudly. Whether your cat is super playful, shy, dramatic, clingy, adventurous, or secretly plotting world domination, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away! <3

Liz S. is a true cat whisperer. My 15-year-old ginger cat is extremely shy and fearful. He never lets strangers touch him and usually hides under the bed or beneath the covers, even when close friends visit. Yet within less than five minutes of meeting Liz, he was already eating treats from her hand, and by the next day he even let her pet him. Liz’s warm, calm, and incredibly patient nature made him feel safe while I was away. Thanks to that, he didn’t experience the stress-related health issues he had after previous short trips. I’m so grateful to have found her, and I will absolutely ask for her help again in the future.
