I’ve always been a cat person and, when we moved to Celbridge many years ago, we started out with two ex-feral rescue cats and now have five rescue cats who live indoors with us. Two of those are fiv positive, and the other three came from various neglectful or abusive situations so I’m well used to administering medication, giving injections, and caring for sick, scared, elderly, or nervous cats, and cats with disabilities. . My cats are my babies and are the real bosses in our house. Every cat is unique so, as a cat sitter, I follow your instructions regarding feeding, litter tray maintenance, grooming, cuddles, treats, general interaction and playtime. I respect your cats personal space and can give them space if needed. I also ensure your home looks lived-in by taking in post, opening and closing curtains/blinds, putting out bins, and turning lights on and off. Cat sitting is not a job, its a labour of love.
