A typical day
I prioritize keeping dogs and cats stimulated with long walks, outdoor or indoor play with balls and squeeze toys for dogs, and indoor play for cats! I'll also sit with your animals for a long time when they're sleepy, to make sure they get lots of snuggles and love while they're missing their special owners that they love. I make sure animals don't feel lonely by prioritizing play and snuggles with constant activities and love!

Hi, I'm Rachel! I'm a life-long animal lover dedicated to giving loving care & comfort to animals. I am extremely passionate about caring for cats! I have 18 years of personal experience with senior/geriatric and special needs cats. I am experienced in administering medicine via pill and sub-dermal injection, and paying special attention to cats' needs and respecting their boundaries. I've loved animals as long as I can remember, and first started pet sitting 17 years ago when I was only 11 years old! I love spending my free time volunteering at the Franklin County Dog Shelter & Sunrise Animal Sanctuary, so I have experience with many breeds & types of animals! Spending time with animals and giving them love is my favorite to do, which is why booking me to pet sit your cat is the perfect choice. Safety and comfort is my primary concern, and will ensure that your pet is happy and loved the entirety of my visit! I take care of every pet like it's my own, because to me there is no other way to provide care. When you book with me, you can expect a high level of attention to detail, expert care in paying attention to your pet's needs, open dialogue with a high level of communication, and frequent photos and videos during our visits. Because I am a fellow pet owner and lifelong animal lover, I aim to provide the very top level of care to your fur babies. I have special skills of caring for senior cats, including administering medicine and ensuring their specific needs are met to keep them comfy and happy. My favorite things to do are to sit for a long time with animals and give them long snuggles & pets until they fall asleep, making sure they feel safe and relaxed. I also love playing with cats and adapting to using whatever their favorite toy is! I look forward to having the opportunity to care for your furry friends! Rachel was AMAZING taking care of my two kitties! Especially with one that has many quirks and requires some patience. She spent the time necessary to gain their trust and constantly gave them care and affection while I was away. She made sure to play with them and give them the love I’d give them myself. She left awesome comments and pictures and constantly stayed in touch. 10/10 would recommend Rachel!
Rachel did an incredible job!!! She send great updates while she was with my cats and kept me informed of anything I needed to know while I was gone. Great with the cats and easy to work with - I would highly, highly recommend Rachel if you need someone to watch your pets!!
