Seasoned cat sitter with 15 years of experience in caring for cats

Hi! I'm Iolee (pronounced eye-oh-lee) and I've been a lifelong cat lover.

I'm particularly experienced in caring for longhair cats, having owned three fluffy Persians for over a decade. These days, I live with my male tabby, Bailey, whom I've trained to do tricks and use talking buttons (spoiler alert: his favourite one is the 'food' button😅)

What I love most about felines is that sweet, calm energy they bring in a place, along with their unique personalities. Throughout my many years of owning and caring for cats, I've learned that each cat has its own character and needs, even if they're of the same breed. In order to build trust with cats, it's important to give them space and time while we get to know each other, respect their boundaries, and interpret their body language. I take playtime, grooming, and cuddling all very seriously, as they're essential for a cat's overall wellbeing. I've cared for cats with challenging behaviours and I love applying empathy, research and cat language cues to understand and bond with them.

I'm located in Douglas and also cover surrounding areas. I'd be happy to check on your cat once/twice daily or spend the night at your place and ensure it gets all the attention it's used to while you're away.

Here's what I can provide for your pet:

🍲 Feeding: quantity and frequency as per the owner's instructions (cat food is provided by the owner) 💧Water change 💩 Litter tray cleaning 🎀 Grooming (upon request): gentle brushing, careful nail clipping, stress-free bathing, dental care 💊 Health-related: can administer oral medication, apply skin ointments and flea treatment, as well as eye/ear drops 🎣 Playtime: 15-20 minute intense session daily to help to keep your indoor cat active 🫘 Yummy treats 🥰 Purrrfect cuddles

You will also receive regular updates from me with photos and videos, so that you can rest easy knowing your furbaby is in good hands😺
