About Me

Loving and experienced cat sitter - Bernadette

Hi I'm Bernadette

I have been a cat owner for most of my life and am an experienced cat sitter. I offer extra long home visits which are tailored to meet your specific needs.

I have loved cats for as long as I can remember and my own cat Kes lived to be 23 years.

I am familiar with many feline diseases and disorders as I have faced them myself with my own cats over the years. I feel a deep bond and understanding with cats and can see the signs associated with various health issues.

Cats seem to love and respond to me, my friends and family are always amazed by this and comment that "You are the only one they respond to like that!". I also love meeting new cats and quickly form a bond, they trust me and respond well.

Rest assured that I will provide excellent and loving care for your cats while you are away. I will always listen to your instructions for looking after your cat and follow them to the letter - I am conscious that the owners wishes must always be carried out...happy owner means a happy cat!

I look forward to meeting you and your cats and providing a positive experience and piece of mind while you are away.

My Background

After 30 rewarding years as a Software Engineer, I was seeking a new experience and I knew that would definitely involve cats! Cat care is now my main focus and I am happily thriving and loving it!

My service can be tailored to meet your needs and we can discuss these in detail during a free Meet & Greet. I usually visit your home to meet with you and your cats & sometimes other little pets.

I give your cats time to get to know me and if the are open to it, lavish them with affection. Then lots of playing of course! I make sure they get all their usual treats and their favourite foods to keep them happy and relaxed. I think cats are more social than we think - mine was always waiting for me when I got home and very excited to see me. They really do need company and lots of cuddles :))

    Bernadette went out of her way to make sure our 2 cats were happy and kept us updated the whole time. There was a heatwave whilst we were away so it was especially reassuring to know they were in such good hands. We would highly recommend Bernadette.

    Bernadette looked after my 4 cats so well while I was in Oz for 2 weeks! Extremely reliable and sent me photos twice a day which meant a lot to me, I have never left them for so long before. I came home to very happy and relaxed cats and would highly recommend Bernadette :)
