As a pet owner myself (6 at present), I am aware of how difficult it can be to find a pet sitter for those big events such as christenings, birthdays, weddings, and other important occasions, or even a last-minute getaway you desperately need (we all need a break from time to time).

Life is busy and finding a trustworthy, competent pet sitter who you know will take care of your pets as well as they take care of their own is the number one priority before you can begin to look forward to and enjoy whatever plans you have made.

As someone who uses pet sitting services myself, I know what is important to me when looking for a pet sitter and would provide just as much attention and care to your pet/pets and their needs.

I have 4 cats, a rabbit, and a puppy, and have previously owned many fish. Although it's a lot of work and expense, I ensure all my pets are well cared for, loved, and respected. I can assure you that your pet/pets will be treated with the same care, love, and respect I give my own.

I have so much empathy for all animals, little and large, scaly and furry, they are all amazing in different ways.

2 of my four cats are siblings and were placed in my care at only a few weeks old. These kittens were terrified of people and behaved in a feral way having been found in someone's garden in a box.

They are now a few years old and over time have become the most loving, affectionate, confident cats. As you may have guessed, I couldn't part with them and decided to adopt them instead.

My dog Pepper, who I am just about managing to hold in my profile picture, was placed in my care at 6 weeks old. This arrangement was initially meant to be temporary until a new home could be found for her however I fell in love with Pepper instantaneously and also decided to adopt her. She is almost 1 year old now and is such a happy, fun-loving, gentle, affectionate dog.

Apart from my personal experience caring for pets, I have plenty of experience in Health and Social Care and understand the importance of upholding the trust of others when caring for their loved ones and pets, as pets are also a big part of the family.

Due to these previous roles, I have been Garda Vetted and assure you I am trustworthy, honest, and dependable.

Although I currently work as a Health Insurance Advisor, my degree is in Psychology and ideally I would love to combine what I learned during my degree with my love for animals and work to improve animal welfare. To understand how animals are coping with the conditions in which they live and how to improve these conditions to better meet their needs.

I would be more than happy to take care of your pet/pets.

Ideally, this would be overnight, for a few nights in a row. As I work remotely and can reassure you your pet/pets would not be on their own during the day/night.

I offer the following services:

Visiting your residence to check in on your pet, give them some attention, a cuddle, or any food or water they need.

Walking your pet if you are also a dog owner while providing the services above for any pets in your residence before the walk.

If you do not require a dog to be walked but have one in your residence in addition to your cat I can make sure they are let outside to toilet.

I am also happy to stay overnight(s) with your pets and carry out all the above.

In addition to this I am happy to administer medication orally to your pet as I do this every night for one of my cats and have plenty of experience ensuring the correct dose is taken and never missed.

I am also open to other arrangements if needed, for example, if you require pets other than cats and dogs to be cared for.
