About Me

Caring, Cuddling Cat Sitter in Dublin 6

Hi I'm Katie! I am originally from the United States, but I am now living in a flat in Ranelagh close to the Luas for easy access to anywhere in Dublin City.

I have a degree in Biology and love being with animals, hiking and travelling. I have worked and cared for many cats (big and small) over the years with the dream of working with big cats again. I was evacuated from South America due to COVID while I was working Jaguars and Pumas in Bolivia. I have also worked and volunteered at zoos in the US, South Africa and Australia working with lions, caracals, servals, and African wild cats.

I also grew up with two cats, Coco and Clyde, may they rest in kitty heaven. More recently I travelled Europe doing housesits for people with both cats and dogs (I have references if you would like them). Unfortunately I cannot have a pet of my own at the moment and am always looking to share my love to a furball in need.

I would be happy to play with, cuddle, feed, change the litterbox or just be great company for your feline friends. I can send photo updates of your happy kitty if desired.

    Incredibly friendly and attentive with a calm experience and knowledge of our cats needs. Our two cats immediately took to her at the initial meet-and-greet and we were confident leaving them in her care. She updated us regularly and sent plenty of photos and check-ins. Their needs were more than met and she was everything we hoped for!

    Katie minded our cat for more than 2 weeks, it was the first time we left Nala that long and she seemed very happy when we came back home. Nala is usually shy with new people, but seemed comfortable straight away with Katie which was great to see.
