Qualified and experienced cat lover and sitter

My name is Melissa and I am an animal lover with a particular fondness for felines! I am a registered Veterinary Nurse after graduating from UCD and I also have a qualification in level 5 animal care and animal first aid. I have had cats and other animals since I was a child. I've been to the vets on every kind of visit including work experience. As a registered VN I’m trained to give tablets and /or injections. I currently own two cats and a dog, while also taking care of two stray cats. The first cat’s name is skyrah, she was found by me when she was abandoned by her mother at the age of three days old, I raised her and now she’s a beautiful 7 year old. My second cats name is Louis and I rescued him from Drogheda. Animals are my passion but I’m crazily in love with cats. I offer peace of mind for the owner, knowing that their babies are in good and trained hands, knowing that I will care for them as I will care for my own.

As previously stated I have a level 5 in animal care and animal first aid. I recently graduated from UCD and I’m now a registered VN and I’m working for Village Vets. Through my experience and studies I’ve learned a lot about animal behaviour and therefore I understand how to handle cats that might experience stress or other types of behavioural challenges. My main goal would be to make your fur babies happy and relaxed while also giving the owner the peace of mind that they need with loads of updates.
