What’s not to love about spending time with cats?

I’ve been around cats most of my life, from fostering to looking after friends’ moggies, and I consider winning a cat’s heart one of my proudest achievements. These days, I share my home (on her terms, of course) with Lady Coffee, my void gremlin and the absolute love of my life. She’s a sleek black cat with striking amber eyes, a dramatic flair for flopping, and a talent for both chaos and cuddles.

Living with her has only deepened my love and respect for cats. Every slow blink, head bump, and quiet moment of trust feels like pure magic. I understand that every cat has their own quirks, moods, and boundaries, and I’m happiest when I can make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved—whether that means playtime, treats, or simply being a calm human presence.

For me, there’s nothing more rewarding than being chosen by a cat.

Cuddles? Sure. Playtime? Absolutely. Feeding? Yes, definitely. Worm my way into your cat’s heart? You bet. Supply you with an abundance of cat photos while away? You don’t even have to ask. Honestly, letting me look after your cat,… that’s you doing me a favour, not the other way round 🐱
