Feline Veterinary Nurse

My name is Róisín and I am a registered veterinary nurse who has a wealth of knowledge about cats. I have spent most of my nursing career nursing in a feline only clinic in Dublin. Here, I completed an advanced certificate in feline behaviour. In December I decided to take a break from clinical work and I am now on the teaching side of veterinary. I live with my husband, our rescue dog Layla and our two rescue cats Beemer and Frida. Needless to say, there is never a dull moment.

I am of the firm opinion that cats are the superior species so you can trust me to treat your cats with the utmost respect when I visit. As I have extensive veterinary background you can rest assured that I will be keeping a close eye on them while you are away. If I think there is a problem, which I'm sure there won't be, I will act fast and get them the best veterinary care if warranted. I am also very comfortable administrating medications to your cat so if your cat any longterm illnesses like diabetes, hyperthyroidism or if they are on a short course of antibiotics or pain relief I am more than happy to tablet or inject while you are away. As I also have extensive knowledge with regards to feline behaviour you can be sure that I will always be observing your cat, looking for signs of stress or discomfort so that I can help confort them as best I can. While you are away you can be rest assured that I have your cats safety and wellbeing at the forefront of my visits.
