A Cat person prefer cats

I am a cat person who prefers cats who have experience being catsitter rather than any dog. Though to be fair, I did help my friends watch for their dog, but it was mostly for a few hours and nothing more than that. So if you want to hire me to care for dogs, it should be simple tasks and your dog has no history of aggression, or medical issues, is vaccinated, and I refuse to petsit rottweilers, XL bullies, German Shepherds and dachshunds.

And definitely no spiders and snakes!

My motivation to be a petsitter though is because I missed having cats as a company, but cannot afford it, and for extra money to live by as a student.

In Sweden, I've been a catsitter at my friend's house/apartments, sometimes for more than 2 weeks. But anything goes. I upload sometimes photos of animals on Instagram or FB (with the owners' consent of course) mainly to update and be as transparent as possible and I regularly write to the owners in case something wrong with their pets. I'll let them know immediately.

Just in case, I always make sure owners know everything about how their loved pets are doing. At the moment, I cannot bring any animals to my current place since I'm not allowed to bring pets, so I may have to visit your place instead also, cats prefer to be in their own homes rather than being moved around constantly.

Yes, I also prefer vaccinated cats (all pets!) to be honest since it's super important that you vaccinate your cats for their benefit, so please vaccinate them.

Also, informing their medical history is important as well as giving the address to the veterinary nearby in case of sickness or accidents.

I'm great at cuddling, petting, and I don't mind grooming the furs, but I also accept sphynx cats as well, since I've petsit a sphynx two years ago and know how they function and that they need regular maintenance of hygiene.

I can also give them simple medicine as well, and, again, medical information is very important as well as the local adress to veterinary in case of emergency.

I however expects the owners to already make sure that there's enough food for the cats as well as important materials for the cats. I only buy food for them in case of unexpected shortage, but then again I'm sure most owners prefers buying food before travelling.

I regularly update on WhatsApp about the cats' wellbeing and I sometimes post on Instagram and Facebook, but if you do not want any photos of your pets on Social Media, please inform me about it.
