Hi! As you may know my name is Mariana and I’m a 25 years old. I’m from Brazil but I have been living in Dublin for almost 2 years now, and working as a home care assistant since December 2022.

I grew up surrounded by animals, with my family always having at least one cat and one dog. Unfortunately, in my country, there's a significant problem with animals living on the streets. Because of this, when I was 15, our family began helping stray animals by providing temporary homes and assisting them in finding good adoptive families. Some of our foster animals are still with us today, while others have been adopted by loving families. I am happy to say that my home in Brazil remains a refuge for many of our adopted furry children. Since moving to Ireland, I have been thinking about continuing this work in some way. Being a pet sitter would be rewarding, as I have experience and a lot of affection for animals. Being around them brings me great joy, and I am eager to continue making a positive impact on their lives.
