Cat Sitting in Dublin

Hi, my name is Julia, and I’m from São Paulo, Brazil. I’m here in Dublin to study English and become fluent, and also, of course, to experience new and amazing cultures. 💙

Since I was a child, I have always loved all animals, which led me to pursue a degree in biology. I have always taken care of animals for neighbors and friends, and now I am a proud mom of three beautiful cats. My male cat, Francisco, is 5 years old; my senior cat, Branquinha (which would be “Little White” in English), is 13 years old; and my youngest, almost still a baby, is 4 years old and named Mingau!

In Brazil, there are many NGOs that rescue stray cats and find them new homes, and that’s how I adopted mine. I visited an NGO in my city, and it was love at first sight! I even worked as a volunteer and participated in some animal rescues. It is incredibly rewarding to know that these animals will have a warm and loving home to live in!

So, what do I love most about cats? I’m a total cat lover, hahaha! I love and respect each cat’s unique personality. I’m fascinated by how every cat has its own individuality and how they grow into their own unique selves. It’s beautiful to see how they interact with each other and with humans. The way they show love and affection is so special, and when a cat loves you… you can be sure it’s real and forever. I’m absolutely in love with them!
